An Alberta-built app that puts horse care in one place — owners find and book trusted local professionals, and pros get control over requests, scheduling, recurring service, and client coordination.
Horse owners don't pay — professionals subscribe.
Professionals get a free trial when we launch, with a paid subscription after — and early waitlist members lock in preferred early-adopter pricing.
You'll see pricing before committing to anything.
We're building now and launching in Alberta first.
Waitlist members get in first — that's the point of the list.
No, and deliberately.
No instant booking, no algorithm assigning jobs. Professionals approve every client and every visit.
We coordinate; they stay in control.
Pick “Both” on the form — you're far from alone; plenty of farriers and bodyworkers have their own horses.
You'll get one account that works both ways: run your business and manage your own horses' care in the same app.
Keep them — and invite them.
EquiRoute manages the relationship you already have: recurring visits, records, reminders.
Pros who join with their existing clients get the most out of it.
We're starting with farriers and bodyworkers — the care almost every horse needs on a recurring schedule.
Equine dentists and other professionals are on the roadmap.
Yes — please do.
Join the waitlist, choose “Other” and tell us what you do.
You'll be the first to know when your service category opens, and where you sign up helps us decide which categories to open next.
Professionals build complete public profiles — services, areas, experience — and you choose who works with your horse.
Like the real world, the relationship is yours; EquiRoute just makes finding and running it easier.
You're in control.
When you request a visit from a new professional, you approve sharing your location with that specific pro as part of the request — they need it to know whether you fit their route.
It's never public, never shown to anyone you haven't requested, and we never sell your information.
Visibility is on your terms.
Set “not accepting new clients” and you get zero inbound; the tool still runs your existing clients, schedule, and routes.
EquiRoute was founded by Michelle Stepp — Alberta horse owner, Saskatchewan farm girl at heart, and software entrepreneur with 20+ years building systems for complex industries.
Five years ago she traded downtown for remote work, and for the first time her horses were outside her office window instead of at a boarding facility at the end of a long commute.
Living that day to day made the problem impossible to ignore: excellent professionals drowning in texts, scheduling, and unpaid admin — and owners coordinating care through memory and crossed fingers.
EquiRoute is her way of giving the relationships that hold this industry together: better tools built from inside the community, starting in Alberta.
Join the waitlist and you’ll be first to know when EquiRoute opens in your area.
Professionals who join early lock in preferred early-adopter pricing.
